What is uPVC?
UPVC, also known as Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride, is a low-maintenance building material designed to replaced wood and aluminum in installing premium quality windows and doors. It has many useful attributes as a material to hold different types of glass, but the main consideration in using uPVC is its’ durability against all types of weather conditions.
The amazing strength, versatility and low maintenance comes from being manufactured using vinyl polymer which is bound to chlorine atoms so the window frames are not actually plastic and can work well with steel. It is often offered as a viable material for green architecture as it can be recycled without being hard on the environment. UPVC windows and doors are energy-rated to conform with the Building Regulations in Europe and America, and are available in different colours and woodgrain finishes.
Energy-rated UPVC windows are extremely efficient. They have a very low thermal conductivity as a result of the type of materials used in manufacturing. This stops heat (or cool air) from escaping as easily as it can do with some other building materials like wood or aluminium
UPVC works well with double glazing, tempered glass, Low-E and laminated glass to maximize soundproofing, water/air tightness, and resistance to UV rays and other harmful light elements. It will not dis-color, warp or break due to sudden change in temperature. No re-painting needed, just wipe it down every once in a while.

Kensington Design, Construction, and Fabrication started in 2010 as a full architectural-design-and-construct service but quickly shifted its focus to design-fabrication-installation of windows and doors. We supplied glass and aluminum sliding windows, doors and install them to newly constructed residential buildings. We operated within Bulacan, Metro Manila, and nearby provinces. Almost immediately, the market demand brought us to take on the increasingly popular uPVC technology for modern windows and doors. Continuously building our portfolio of residential projects that demands no less than high-end finished, our experience and expertise have reached a summit, that by 2015 Kensington Windows have focused mainly on delivering advanced, premium-quality, be-spoke, custom-fitted uPVC windows and doors.
